Qualified and Partially Qualified Patent and Trade Mark Attorneys

Trainee Patent Attorneys

Carpmaels & Ransford typically employs three or four new entrants to the profession each year. Trainees will have a minimum of a good 2.1 degree in a relevant technical discipline, such as chemistry, biochemistry, molecular biology, physics, electronics, engineering or computer science. 

 

 We have a dynamic and friendly group of trainees and our trainees have an exemplary record in passing the Chartered Institute of Patent Attorneys’ professional qualifying examinations and the European qualifying examinations. We strongly support the course leading to the Certificate in Intellectual Property Law at Queen Mary College, London.

  

 We will consider applications at any time of the year, but recruitment primarily takes place in December/January for starting the following September. Trainee Trade Mark Attorneys

Carpmaels & Ransford also typically employs one new entrant to the trade marks profession each year. Trainees will have a minimum of a good 2.1 degree.

Our trade mark trainees fully integrate with other trainees and attorneys in the firm and also have an exemplary record in passing the professional examinations leading to qualification as a Trade Mark Attorney.
