Adrian Fisher

B.A. (Hons.) (Biochemistry), MA, Chartered Patent Attorney, European Patent Attorney, Registered Trade Mark Attorney, European Trade Mark Attorney.

Adrian has been with Carpmaels since he left Oxford University, and handles mainly chemical and biochemical subject-matter. He has particular experience in prosecuting oppositions in the European Patent Office, having been responsible for well over 200 at the last count. His clients include Johnson & Johnson, Procter & Gamble, Eli Lilly & Company, and Merck & Co., Inc.

He has also been involved in a number of High Court matters regarding biotech subject-matter, most recently in the Eli Lilly v Human Genome Sciences revocation action relating to neutrokine-α (BAFF).
