Sarah Kent

Sarah studied biochemistry and molecular biology at Cambridge University. During her time at Cambridge, her practical experience included research work relating to protein-protein interactions in multienzyme complexes and a short research project in the translation field.
Sarah entered the profession in 2001 and qualified as a chartered UK patent attorney and European patent attorney in 2005. Her particular expertise lies in the prosecution of European patent applications and in opposing and defending European patents. She deals with an extensive range of subject-matter in the biotechnology and life sciences fields, including monoclonal antibody therapeutics, stem cells, vaccines, proteomics arrays and nucleic acid-based diagnostic assays. She has experience working with a variety of clients, from small start-up companies to large multinational corporations.
Sarah enjoys music and is an accomplished flautist. She regularly plays tennis and tries to ensure that at least one holiday a year is devoted to skiing.
