Patent Attorney Open Days at Carpmaels & Ransford

If you have an interest in training to become a patent attorney and would like to learn about whether it is the right career for you, you may wish to attend one of our Open Days at our offices in London.  These Open Days have a relaxed atmosphere and will give you an insight into the daily life of a patent attorney.  They include interactive workshops to demonstrate patent drafting and prosecution and allow you plenty of opportunities to ask questions to our new trainees, qualified attorneys and partners.

After the Open Day, we would welcome you to informal refreshments with our trainees and attorneys.

Our next Open Days will take place from 2pm on Thursday 1st October 2009 and Thursday 10th December 2009.

Applications for the October Open Day will be considered between 1 July and 4 September. The closing date for the December Open Day will be 13 November.

As a guideline, please note we would expect participants to have obtained (or expect to attain) a minimum of a 2:1 degree in one of the following disciplines:  chemistry, biochemistry, molecular biology, physics, electronics, engineering or computer science.
