The professional staff are supported by a trained and dedicated administrative staff which is highly experienced in all the relevant formalities of the UK Patent Office, Trade Marks Registry and Designs Registry; the European Patent Office; WIPO; OHIM (Community Trade Marks and Designs) and other national overseas Patent and Trade Mark Offices. Many of the senior records and formalities staff have many years’ experience in dealing with fee payments, due dates and other deadlines that are involved in the work of a firm of Patent and Trade Mark Attorneys.

There are also specialist computer and accounting staff. The firm uses a computerised records system written specifically for Patent and Trade Mark Attorneys and in the development of which a number of the firm's senior administrative staff have played an active part. Our IT staff are continually developing our internal systems and in particular how they interface with both our Intranet and the Internet.

The Accounting Staff have considerable expertise particularly in relation to UK and EU law and practice on VAT and how this impacts upon our clients, as well as matters relating to payment of official fees at the UK Patent Office, EPO, OHIM and WIPO. Methods and the manner of billing can also be a concern to our clients and the firm's computerised system allows us to meet most of our clients' requirements from invoicing-in-advance to consolidated periodic invoicing. As the firm prides itself in always seeking to meet the needs of our clients, the support staff are particularly aware of the need to tailor our systems to the clients' requirements.
