During his project, Daniel was exposed to a broad range of laboratory techniques ranging from basic biochemical methods to more specialised quantitative cellbased assays. Daniel’s PhD work was recognised by the grant of a number of academic travel awards to present at international conferences.

Daniel entered the patent profession upon completing his PhD in 2012 and is now a qualified patent attorney. In 2014, Daniel was awarded a Distinction in recognition of his examination achievements in the Certificate in Intellectual Property Law course at Queen Mary University of London.
