Each year we have a number of opportunities for qualified or part-qualified patent or trade mark attorneys, as well as for qualified solicitors and barristers who will have already completed their trainee contracts or pupillage. Speculative applications from high-calibre candidates will be considered throughout the year. We also have opportunities for legal executives or paralegals to join our Dispute Resolution and Transactions teams.

The group supports some of the world’s leading chemical and consumer companies and research institutions protecting exciting and cutting edge technologies in the fields of polymer chemistry, catalysts, batteries, metallurgy, nanotechnology, cleantech, electrochemistry, petrochemicals, surfactants and food chemistry.

An opportunity has arisen for a part-qualified or qualified patent attorney within our Engineering and Technology practice group. The group represents some of the world’s leading companies in a variety of engineering and tech fields, ranging from medical devices to telecommunications, from contact lenses to semiconductor devices, from window hinges to lasers, and from aircraft wings to Fintech. Our clients include Johnson & Johnson, Mars, LG Display, Raytheon, and Micron as well as many other household names and SMEs.

We have an opportunity for a qualified or part-qualified patent attorney to join our market leading Biotechnology practice.  With increasing demands from our major international clients including Novartis, Eli Lilly, Johnson & Johnson, Regeneron, CSL, Shire/Takeda and Biogen, there is never a shortage of challenging, high-value work.  The role would suit someone who enjoys the contentious environment of oppositions, appeals and patent litigation and who has an aptitude for prosecuting European applications in a thoughtful, strategic manner.
