In this episode of Carpmaels in Conversation, Simon Keevey Kothari and Aled Richards-Jones join our host, Lara Elder, to discuss the recent case in which Anna Pasternak, the great-niece of Dr. Zhivago author Boris Pasternak, brought a claim for copyright infringement in the High Court of England and Wales against Lara Prescott. Prescott is the author of a historical novel called The Secrets We Kept, which Pasternak claimed infringed the copyright of her own biographical work Lara: The Untold Love Story that Inspired Doctor Zhivago.
Carpmaels & Ransford represented the defendant.
