An article by UPC representatives John Snape, Agathe Michel-de Cazotte, and Isobel Barry is featured in the December 2023 issue of epi Information, the quarterly journal of the Institute of Professional Representatives before the European Patent Office (“epi”). The article can be accessed here.

The article analyses the recent UPC decision in AIM Sport Vision AG v Supponor Oy et al. and its implications for opt out practice. 

epi is the professional body representing all European Patent Attorneys. Currently, the Institute has about 14,000 European Patent Attorneys as members coming from each of the 39 Contracting States of the European Patent Convention, working either in industry or in private practice.
