Atar Shafighian

Atar is an Associate in our Transactions and Trade Mark teams. Before joining Carpmaels & Ransford, Atar trained both in private practice and in-house across a range of practice areas including data protection, commercial, finance and white-collar crime. Prior to qualifying as a solicitor, Atar worked both as a professional musician and senior lecturer, having trained originally in classical and jazz piano at London’s Guildhall School of Music and Drama. He has released three albums to date and worked with a range of artists as a session musician.

Atar undertook his Graduate Diploma in Law at University of Westminster and completed the Legal Practice Course at University of Law, achieving commendations in both.

In his spare time, Atar continues to work on various music projects as well as playing football, tennis and enjoying London’s music, film and theatre offerings.
