Barnaby joined the firm as a Trainee Patent Attorney in 2019 after first working as a technical paralegal in the Engineering & Tech teams. He joined Carpmaels & Ransford from the University of Cambridge where he completed his BA in Natural sciences, the last two years of which he specialised in physics.
During his final year, Barnaby completed a research review on the Higgs Boson, investigating the theoretical physics that led to its discovery, the current state of the experimental research and the future of research into the Higgs Boson using high energy colliders.
In his spare time, Barnaby likes to be outdoors as much as possible. He enjoys running, cycling and hiking and is also teaching himself to play the guitar.
