Ben joined Carpmaels & Ransford in August 2019 as a Senior Litigation Paralegal within the Dispute Resolution team and is responsible for overseeing and providing litigation support to the team. With over 15 years’ working within litigation, initially as a Barristers Clerk, before becoming a Paralegal specialising in intellectual property, Ben has vast experience dealing with a wide range of complex contentious matters from first instance up to and including the CJEU.

Ben’s role involves managing all aspects court processes  monitoring dates and correspondence, project managing resources, drafting correspondence and court documents, preparing materials and legal research.

Prior to joining Carpmaels & Ransford, Ben was a Paralegal in a full service international contentious IP Law Firm. He is also a graduate member of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives where he specialised in Civil Litigation among other topics. He is now working towards becoming a qualified Legal Executive.

Ben enjoys spending time with his young family and when time permits, playing golf and going fishing.
