Claire Middleton

Claire joined Carpmaels & Ransford in 2022 as Head of IP Operations, and is responsible for both the Records and the Secretarial departments. These departments cover all formalities for patents, trademarks, and designs, from first filings through to grant and registration as well as transactions and dispute resolution.

Her role is focussed on reviewing and improving processes within both the Records and the Secretarial departments, and the day to day oversight of the individual teams. Claire is also involved in firm-wide projects to ensure that these departments are included in managing change and maintaining the high levels of service and support we provide both throughout the firm and to our clients.

Claire has over 10 years’ experience within IP professional services including working in and managing records and formalities, as well as secretarial departments.

In her spare time, she enjoys travelling, eating out and has a passion for music.
