Gabriel Bracken

Gabriel joined the Engineering and Tech teams at Carpmaels & Ransford as a part-qualified patent attorney in 2019, having previously worked at another private practice firm. Prior to joining the industry, Gabriel obtained a first class degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Sheffield, where he covered subjects including thermodynamics, aerospace propulsion, and nuclear reactor design.

While studying at Sheffield, Gabriel also participated in the IMechE Formula Student competition, where he helped the University’s team design and manufacture a number of single-seat race cars from the ground up. Gabriel then took the opportunity to lead the team in his final year, gaining commercial and organisational experience in the process.

Outside of work, Gabriel enjoys playing guitar and the occasional spot of tennis.
