Hannah Gardiner

Hannah Gardiner is a solicitor and member of the Dispute Resolution team, primarily focussing on patent litigation in the life sciences and healthcare sectors.

Prior to joining Carpmaels & Ransford, she trained and worked at a leading international full-service law firm, where she developed a broad background in intellectual property law.

Hannah has advised clients across various industries in relation to IP ownership, infringement, licensing, and portfolio management. Her litigation experience includes advising in relation to patent, SPC, design right and trade mark infringement and validity issues, as well as passing off and brand protection strategies, including applications for preliminary injunctions and cases before the UK and Irish Courts.

She also has non-contentious experience, including advising on the acquisition of a life sciences start up specialising in organoid technology, and assisting in the management, (as well as opposition and prosecution) of global IP portfolios.

During her master’s degree, Hannah focused on intellectual property and competition law. She has a particular interest in multi-system disease, personalised medicine and medical technology.
