Isabel joined Carpmaels & Ransford as a technical assistant in 2018. She graduated from the University of Nottingham in 2016 with a first class Masters degree in Chemistry. Isabel has a keen interest in polymer chemistry after undertaking a final year project focussing on the synthesis and stereochemistry of renewable polymers in supercritical carbon dioxide. During her time at Nottingham she was also awarded five departmental scholarships for her outstanding academic achievements.
Outside of the office, Isabel enjoys rock climbing and playing her cello in an amateur orchestra. She also enjoys travel, having spent several months working for the YMCA in Liberia and backpacking round South East Asia before joining the firm.
