Jacob Carl
Associate
Jacob is an associate in the Dispute Resolution team with a focus on patent litigation at the UPC and German courts. He has been involved in several infringement and revocation actions as well as proceedings for provisional measures in the UPC and German courts (both first instance and appeal).
Prior to joining Carpmaels & Ransford in 2026, Jacob worked in the patent and life sciences department at a top-tier full-service law firm in Munich, Germany.
Jacob is German-qualified and earned his doctoral degree with a thesis on the UPC.
