Nikolaos Drosos

Technical Assistant

Nikolaos joined the Chemistry team as a Technical Assistant in 2025. He holds a Master’s degree in Organic Chemistry from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece and earned his Dr. rer. nat. for research conducted at the Max-Planck-Institut für Kohlenforschung, Germany. Prior to joining the firm, Nikolaos worked as an Intellectual Property Officer at a pharmaceutical company.

During his Master’s studies, Nikolaos focused on the use of multi-component reactions to efficiently access biologically active scaffolds in a single step reactions. In his doctoral research he focused on the development of novel catalytic methods for the selective deoxygenation of diols and polyols, enabling the synthesis of valuable intermediate compounds from readily available starting materials. Nikolaos also completed an internship at Novartis Institutes for BioMedical Research in Basel, Switzerland, where he assisted in the synthesis of innovative antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) drugs.

Outside of work, Nikolaos enjoys cooking and dining with friends as well as listening to music and rewatching old movies.
