Noémie Voss

Technical Assistant

Noémie joined the Life Sciences group at Carpmaels & Ransford as a Trainee Patent Attorney in 2025. Prior to this, she obtained a First-Class MBiochem degree from the University of Oxford, specialising in B cell immunology in her fourth year. Throughout her degree, Noémie was awarded several prizes for her achievements including the Gibbs prize for ranking first in her cohort.

For her final year research project, Noémie joined a viral immunology lab at ETH, Zurich where she investigated the B cell and antibody response to chronic lymphocytic choriomeningitis virus (LCMV) infection in mice. She used a combination of flow cytometry, fluorescence microscopy and immunoassays to visualise germinal centre dynamics and investigate antibody-mediated virus neutralisation.

Throughout her university studies, Noémie engaged in several research internships investigating PARP mechanisms and antiviral neutralising antibodies. She also took part in an internship in the Medical Affairs/Operations division of a large, global pharmaceutical company.

Outside of work, Noémie enjoys keeping active through running and weight training. She also enjoys painting, scrapbooking and discovering new things to bake.
