Sam Parry

Technical Assistant

Sam joined the Life Sciences team at Carpmaels & Ransford in 2023 having moved from another London-based IP firm. He has experience working in a wide range of areas including pharmaceuticals, antibodies, gene therapy, and cell-based immunotherapy. 

Sam received a first class Master’s in Molecular and Cellular Biochemistry from Christ Church, Oxford. During his time there he received the Dr Maurice Carstairs Jones-Mortimer Prize, awarded to a biochemist of outstanding academic merit. His master’s project focused on the development of ex-vivo assays to study the loading of cohesin onto DNA, with a particular focus on determining the role of the protein-protein interfaces in the complex.  

Looking beyond work, Sam nurtures a keen interest in classic literature, yoga, and cycling. A lover of good food, Sam can often be found in the kitchen trying out new recipes.
