Sean’s work encompasses a wide range of subject-matter including wireless communications standards, semiconductors, and electronics. His technical understanding of this subject matter means he enjoys working with clients to understand an invention, how it works and why it is novel.
Sean is building valuable experience advising on computer implemented inventions. He particularly enjoys exploring all avenues to achieving patent protection in this sought-after area.
Sean has a first class MEng (Hons) in Electrical & Electronic Engineering and a PhD in High Frequency Electronics from Queen’s University Belfast. His research entailed using antenna design and matching, circular polarisation and array theory to form electromagnetic telephoto lenses.
Outside of work, Sean likes cycling and, not surprisingly, playing video games.
