Souad Hawchar

Sou joined Carpmaels & Ransford in March 2026 as a Litigation Paralegal in the Dispute Resolution team. With over 12 years’ experience in IP litigation and international arbitration, she has a strong focus on complex, multi-jurisdictional patent disputes and has supported high-profile matters in the pharmaceutical and technology sectors.

Sou also brings valuable international experience, having supported Board‑level governance and compliance initiatives for one of the world’s most ambitious renewable energy projects, NEOM Green Hydrogen Company, in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. She has previously gained experience at leading international law firms, including WilmerHale and Curtis, as well as specialist firms such as Carter‑Ruck and Peters & Peters.

Sou is currently working towards her LLM in Legal Practice at the University of Law and is fluent in Arabic.

In her spare time, Sou enjoys spending time with her family, listening to music, travelling and baking.
