Will Hazelwood
Associate
Will is an associate in the Trade Marks team and handles all aspects of UK, EU and international trade mark matters. Will advises on both contentious and non-contentious issues, such as brand advisory work, clearance, filing, prosecution, opposition, cancellation and enforcement and can assist with managing and maintaining trade mark portfolios.
Will holds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Birmingham and a first-class Master of Laws in International and European Intellectual Property Law from Trinity College Dublin. Will completed his Legal Practice Course with distinction at BPP in London.
Prior to joining Carpmaels & Ransford, Will trained and qualified as a solicitor at a leading IP and international City law firm and has experience of advising on intellectual property both in private practice and in-house. Will developed his experience in brand management and trade mark strategy whilst on secondment to one of the world’s largest food and drink companies.
Outside of the office, Will enjoys watching and playing football; cricket; travelling; and unfortunately is a season ticket holder at Aston Villa FC.
