George Beaumont

George joined Carpmaels & Ransford in 2018 after graduating from Jesus College, University of Oxford with a first class Master’s degree in Chemistry. As part of his degree, he completed a research project involving the development of novel Group 5 borylimido complexes and their potential uses in small molecule reactivity and catalysis.

To supplement his interest in organic chemistry, George also completed an additional examination in heterocyclic pharmaceutical chemistry. As an undergraduate, he was awarded various prizes for excellent examination results, as well as an academic scholarship.

In his spare time, George is an avid theatre goer with a particular love for musicals. He also enjoys travelling to warm, sunny places where he can practice his language skills.
