Natasha Christian

As part of the Engineering and Tech teams, Natasha works across a range of technologies from engines to telecommunications, via genotyping and surgical staplers. Since joining the profession, Natasha has developed particular experience in the field of medical devices, including surgical tools, imaging systems, implants, and ophthalmological devices.
Natasha handles the prosecution of European and UK patents. She also has experience in drafting applications, opposition of patents at the EPO, multi-jurisdictional patent litigation, and designs, as well as coordination of patent and design portfolios outside of Europe.
Natasha Joined Carpmaels & Ransford in 2016 as a Trainee Patent Attorney in the Engineering and Tech teams, after completing a Master’s degree in Physics at the University of Leeds.
In her spare time, Natasha enjoys cooking for friends, seeing live music, and working through Terry Pratchett’s back catalogue. She is also attempting to enjoy running and to learn German, which are proving tricky.
