Sarah joined Carpmaels & Ransford as a trainee patent attorney in September 2017, and works within the Chemistry practice group. In 2012, she graduated from the University of Manchester with a first class degree in Neuroscience. Following a successful industry placement at Boehringer Ingelheim, Sarah went on to pursue a PhD, in collaboration with Boehringer Ingelheim, in Cognitive and Behavioural Neuropharmacology at the University of Cambridge.
Sarah’s research has contributed significantly to the scientific community having been published in several peer-reviewed neuroscience journals. Her significant industry experience has fuelled her interest in Intellectual Property, specifically in patents, and will provide substantial foundations for her future at Carpmaels.
Outside of the office, Sarah is a keen netball player, having played for the University of Manchester and Hughes Hall whilst at Cambridge. She is also an avid world-wide traveller and loves baking.
