Tatiana Foggitt

Tatiana joined Carpmaels & Ransford in September 2022 as a Trainee Patent Attorney, working across the Chemistry and Pharmaceuticals teams. She graduated from Pembroke College, Oxford with a first-class degree in Chemistry and received several prizes for her performance in examinations, including the runner-up Inorganic Thesis Prize for her final year research.

In her Master’s research project, Tatiana investigated a series of known organometallic catalysts for the synthesis of novel poly(ester-amides). The project focussed on screening several aluminium-based catalysts, along with a wide range of monomers, to provide an optimised ring-opening copolymerisation of N-sulfonyl aziridines and cyclic anhydrides.

Outside the office, Tatiana is a keen hockey player and enjoys spin classes, reading, and spending quality time with her dogs.
