Chloe is an experienced transactional intellectual property specialist at Carpmaels & Ransford. Over the past 10+ years’, she has advised companies of all sizes, from start-ups to household names, on both commercial and intellectual property legal issues. Chloe has experience of drafting and negotiating commercial contracts for complex manufacturing systems in highly regulated industries. Her work includes drafting and negotiation of a wide range of commercial agreements and those more specifically focussed on intellectual property assets, such as manufacturing, licensing, distribution and agency arrangements, ecommerce related contracts, and intellectual property asset transfers, along with advisory services in relation to trade secrets and data protection.

She has particular sector expertise in the healthcare and technology sectors, advising medical device and healthtech companies, and has worked in-house at a large medical charity and pharmaceutical start-up.

Practising within Carpmaels & Ransford’s Transactions team her work frequently involves specialist advice related to patent and trade mark prosecution, such as chain of title, priority, and patent restoration, as well as drafting and advising on documentary requirements to enable the efficient recordal of various changes, such as transfers and name changes in multi-jurisdictional recordal programmes.

Away from Carpmaels & Ransford, Chloe is as likely to be found hiking the South West Coast path with a small band of fellow trampers, as at a gallery on the South London Art Map.
